CRIME ALERT - Sexual Assault
On April 17, 2008, Campus Security received a delayed report of a sexual
assault which occurred on April 4, 2008 in Dinkmeyer Hall.
The victim reported that an unknown offender followed the victim through
the locked residence hall doors as she entered them, and then followed her
into her room, where she was sexually assaulted. The offender is
described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall, average build,
approximately 20 years of age.
The Elmhurst Police Department is investigating this incident, with the
assistance of Campus Security.

I got this source from my squirrel mail email. It was sent out to everyone on campus to inform them of this incident. Therefore, if you do not have a squirrel mail account this piece of information is not available to you (probably because you don't go to this school.)

This is so frightening to think about. It could really happen to any of us. I'm sure the girl was just being nice and holding the door open to the guy walking behind her, and little did she know that her politeness would harm her in the end :/
Wow, this is really scary. We hear about that kind of stuff happening on the news, but you never really think that it could happen right here at our own school. It makes you wonder who you can actually trust anymore.
